OUR MISSION
Our mission is to run a company that focuses first on the landowner’s needs, with emphasis on unbiased pricing and leaving a finished product that exceeds the expectations of that owner. By doing this, we create repeat business and encourage the growth of a good reputation for customer service, causing customers to seek us out for their timber harvest needs. To these ends we dedicate ourselves to continuous improvement and to continued growth in our ability to attract and retain the highest caliber of employees.
OUR VISION
The vision of Hack-Away Forest Products is to be the leading timber management and harvesting company in Sauk and the surrounding counties, known to care for the environment, having a safe and productive workforce, and having landowners respect us for our ability to give unbiased prices and to deliver on contractual agreements without delay.
A husband-and-wife owned business, and soon to pass down to the next generation, they understand what it means to work hard. Mike and Tammy built this business from the ground up beginning in 1983 to what is now a well known company that furnishes over 57 local campgrounds with kiln dried firewood.
Paired with logging, these two ensure that no wood goes to waste. Partnering with local mulching companies, even the scraps are given a rightful home. When you work with Hack-Away Forest Products, you're sure to experience an economical way of doing business.
